Andrea Burnett

Founder

Andrea has been a book publicist and publishing professional for over 25 years. She specializes in food, art, architecture, design, green living, health & wellness, pop culture, entertainment and women’s general interest publicity.

Andrea is proud to have spearheaded campaigns and product launches for top publishing companies and authors all over the world.  She understands how to work collaboratively with her clients and how to partner with like-minded companies to maximize the visibility of her clients’ books, brands and projects.  

Over the years, Andrea has cultivated relationships with some of the top magazines and online publications in the consumer space. Andrea is a Bay Area native who lives in Richmond with her partner, their twins and two cats.

Alex Zumpino

Alex joined ABPR as a Publicity & Marketing associate in 2021. Alex is a trans man from Philadelphia. He has been making bookish content online since 2014 and is a big hockey fan. He loves reading LGBTQ+ contemporary novels in pursuit of having his own published one day.  Alex’s love for publishing began with his first client, a self-published Historical fiction author to market her novels. AJ Jolish

AJ Jolish

AJ is our publicity assistant and resident research nerd. She is a recent Scripps college graduate who studied creative writing and linguistics, so it’s safe to say she is obsessed with words. A San Francisco native, she loves public transportation, tiled staircases, and the Golden Gate Park bison paddock. When she is not working on a half dozen knitting projects at a time, AJ loves to spend hours in museum gift shops.
