Andrea Burnett

Founder

Andrea has been a book publicist and publishing professional for over 25 years. She specializes in food, art, architecture, design, green living, health & wellness, pop culture, entertainment and women’s general interest publicity.

Andrea is proud to have spearheaded campaigns and product launches for top publishing companies and authors all over the world.  She understands how to work collaboratively with her clients and how to partner with like-minded companies to maximize the visibility of her clients’ books, brands and projects.  

Over the years, Andrea has cultivated relationships with some of the top magazines and online publications in the consumer space. Andrea is a Bay Area native who lives in Richmond with her partner, their twins and two cats.

Alex Zumpino

Alex joined ABPR as a Publicity & Marketing associate in 2021. Alex is a trans man from Philadelphia. He has been making bookish content online since 2014 and is a big hockey fan. He loves reading LGBTQ+ contemporary novels in pursuit of having his own published one day.  Alex’s love for publishing began with his first client, a self-published Historical fiction author to market her novels. Publicity Assistant and resident book enthusiast, Ellise Huston loves to read, but even more than that, she loves talking about what she’s reading. She studied English, Creative Writing, and Professional Editing at UC Santa Barbara before making her way to Los Angeles, and she brings an infectious enthusiasm for stories, publishing, and connecting readers with books they’ll love.

She’s passionate about the arts, drawing inspiration from everyone from Van Gogh and Monet to Michelangelo, da Vinci, and J. M. W. Turner. And when she’s not reading, writing, or helping promote great books, you’ll likely find her listening to music, playing guitar, singing, or starring in an imaginary music video that only she can see.

Eva Kracht

Publicity Assistant Eva Kracht is always eager to dive down a research rabbit hole in search of the perfect media contact, story angle, or opportunity for our authors.

A recent graduate of the University of Southern California, Eva studied Creative Writing and Podcasting and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Literary Editing and Publishing at USC. Originally from rural Minnesota, she enjoys lake days, line dancing, homemade hotdish, and getting lost in a great book.

When she’s not reading poetry or fantasy novels, Eva is writing her own nonfiction essays and working toward her dream of publishing a memoir one day.
